60 Minutes Of Chill – Part Sixteen [MOBY Edition]

60 Minutes Of Chill – Part Sixteen [MOBY Edition]

On tonight´s episode I like to present you tracks by Richard Melville Hall  – you known him as MOBY.

Not only since „Why does my heart feel so bad“ he´s a well known musician all over the world. In the beginning he was known for his dance/techno tracks, like „Go“, where he re-played the meldoy of Angelo Badalamentis Laura Palmer’s Theme adding some club beats (which was a huge hit).  Also his track „Extreme Ways“ is well known by the fans of the Bourne movies or have a listen to his version of the James Bond Theme – great music!

His album „Play“ was licensed internationally to various films, advertisements, and TV shows, as well as independent films and non-profit groups, which was one of the reasons why it became so successful … in 1999 that was a very controversial way of promoting an album 😉

But he also has this awesome ambient side in his music which I love so much. Therefore I present you some – rather unknown – tracks from him, showing his talent in this special kind of music.

You can listen to the mix at modul303.com on these days:
